Our Story
Our Journey so Far
Visa Petroleum Resources Nig. Ltd. was founded by Chief Christian Ndubueze Ezeokoli, a visionary entrepreneur from Anambra State. His journey began in 1990 as an apprentice under Mr. Francis Eze, learning the Peugeot spare parts business in Nnewi.
By 1997, Chief Ezeokoli launched his own business and ventured into gasket cutting and goods trading between Lagos and Nnewi. In 1999, he diversified into transportation, growing from a single bus to a fleet of three. That same year, he officially registered NDU CHRIS MOTORS NIG. LTD., marking a significant milestone.
In 2001, he expanded into importation bringing in items like shoes, Mercedes Benz parts, and lubricants. Though his first experience as an importer was rocky, his resilience paid off. By 2009, with support from a loan from FCMB, he established Visa Petroleum Resources Nig. Ltd., focusing on high-quality motor oils and lubricants.
Visa quickly gained recognition for its quality, pushing into other sectors including spray paints and fire extinguishers. By 2010, Chief Ezeokoli had established strong ties with manufacturers in China and grew his offerings to over 200 products across:
- Automobile Accessories: Motor oils, gasket makers, fuel injector cleaners, etc.
- Building Materials: Visa Perfect Bond, PVC gum, silicone sealants, etc.
- Electrical Accessories: PVC tapes, contact adhesives, etc.
Today, Visa Petroleum is a household name in Nigeria and Ghana, recognized for innovation, quality, and integrity. Our watchword remains:

OUR FOUNDER
Chief Ezeokoli hails from Agbiligba Nanka in Orumba North, Anambra State. Born on September 27, 1976, he built his business from humble beginnings into a thriving indigenous conglomerate with interests in oil, real estate, logistics, and manufacturing.
He completed his First School Leaving Certificate in 1989 and later obtained his secondary school certificate in 2022 reflecting his lifelong commitment to learning.
He is married to Lolo Ogechukwu Helen Ezeokoli and is blessed with five children. Through the Visa Foundation, he sponsors scholarships, housing for the underprivileged, and youth empowerment programs.
Chief Ezeokoli is also recognized with multiple chieftaincy titles and awards, including:
- Mmegbu Anaeze (Ozo Title)
- Ebube Nanka
- Oji Chukwu Orumba North and South
His philanthropic work, faith, and passion for community development have earned him accolades from Rotary Club, Ndigwe Sports Club, FC Ifeanyi Ubah, and several churches.
